T.A.C.C. Signs “PangPond – Noo-Hin – Ramakian”

The company received a license to oversee the product, marketing, and distribution in Thailand for “PangPond – Noo-Hin – Ramakian”, top classic Thai characters from Vithita Animation Co., Ltd. in order to build the character business and be consistent with government policies on soft power while also supporting Thailand’s private sector entrepreneurs.

“PangPond – Noo-Hin – Ramakian” gained reputation from characters in Thai cartoons and classical literature as cartoon characters that have been among Thailand’s best and longest-known characters. The characters are currently produced in animation form via TV and YouTube. LINE stickers and merchandise are also made. This cooperation has returned excitement to Thailand’s character business.

“PangPond” is a highly popular cartoon in the Kaihuaror cartoon series published by Banluesarn Printing House and produced in the “PangPond Goes to the Future” animation series broadcasted on Channel 3 with positive responses. The character is also produced in the well-known “PangPond” movie shown in IMAX Theater.

“Noo-Hin” is a northeastern Thai character from the “Noo-Hin Inter” cartoon in “Mahasanook” cartoon magazine. Highly popular, Noo-Hin has been produced in “Noo-Hin: The Movie” and as a best-selling LINE sticker for several years.

“Ramakian” is a Thai classical literature that has been produced in various forms such as animations and cartoon books where the story is told in an entertaining animation form. This story was broadcast on Channel 7 with many viewers and followers on YouTube. The story has also been produced as the 10-book box set “Ramawatan Edition” Ramakian cartoon series.

PangPond – Noo-Hin – Ramakian are famous and highly popular classical Thai characters that have been developed and produced completely in various forms such as animation, movies, and merchandise. The characters are believed to be broadly successful and attract interest from female and male customers including college- and working-aged people with a preference for contemporary art and culture while also supporting the soft power policy and other Thai companies.

Basically, T.A.C.C. has a 2-year license agreement for the “PangPond – Noo-Hin – Ramakian” in Thailand. From this point, the company will move forward to make the characters more memorable and widely known, including among people who grew up with the characters and the new generation so Thai characters will become better known. T.A.C.C. is currently licensed to oversee, market, and distribute many characters in Thailand such as “Bellygom”, a most cute and famous pink bear character from South Korea. “OHIGE no PON” is a bearded optimistic male dog character from Japan. In “dogplease”, the story between people and dogs is shown in a cute view from Thailand. With other characters such as Warbie Yama, Line Creators Thailand, the company is confident the characters will support T.A.C.C.’s total income in 2024 to grow by 10% according to outlined goals.
