T.A.C.C. Joins in Stating Intentions to Cooperate with Moving EPR Forward
Mr. Chirapan Khotcharit Choosang, Deputy Managing Director – Corporate Strategy Division and Chairwoman of the ESG Team, and Miss Hatsaya Charuwitayanan, Assistant Managing Director – Business Operation Division, Vice Chairwoman of the ESG Team, and the ESG Team of T.A.C. Consumer Public Co., Ltd. (T.A.C.C.) joined in stating intentions to cooperate with the Federation of Thai Industries’ effort to move EPR forward. The Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE) cooperated with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment represented by the Pollution Control Department in the “PackBack in Action” activity, Year 3: The Drive for ERP in Thailand. Simultaneously, there were also activities aimed at demonstrating the power of the PackBack network, which has grown to have 149 organizations with 48 organizations joining this year. At the end, participants from the government sector and manufacturers involved in the packaging EPR principle participated in proposing guidelines for handling future implementation of EPR principles. The event was held at Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
T.A.C.C. recognizes the importance of the environment, society, and governance (ESG). On this occasion, the company recently expressed the company’s intention to participate in sustainable manufacturing and consumption including climate action according to sustainable development goals (SDGs) in order to fully become a sustainable organization.
